In a gathering marked by reflection, celebration, and forward-thinking, SELL Marked its 11th Annual General Reflection (AGR) with the theme: EMPOWRING COMMUNITIES FOR CLIMATE RESILIENCE. The event brought together SELL volunteers across the North East and Plateau State Nigeria to assess its progress, discuss challenges and opportunities, and chart a course for the future.
The AGR serve as a platform to showcase the impactful work undertaken by SELL Resource team and SELL volunteerson the areas of peace building, policy influence, child safeguarding and protection, community development initiatives and environmental conservation which has left an indelible mark on various fronts.
Reports presented at the 11th AGR by the SELLAnimators on behalf of the various communities during the business meeting underscored the tangible differences made in the lives of individuals and communities touched by SELL.
The 11th AGR is not just a milestone recorded but also a testament to the dedication and commitment of SELL facilitators and its supporters. Amidst the celebration of achievements, the AGR also provided a platform for participants to discussed pressing challenges and chart a roadmap for the future.
Among the key highlights of the event were discussions on ongoing projects and their impact assessments, success stories, business meeting, field visit among others.
The AGR took place at St CharlesBorromeo Pastoral Centre, Mile six Jalingo from the 24th -27th April,2024.
