SELL FOUNDATION PAID ADVOCACY VISITS TO RAWYOD, NAPTIP IN DAMATURU, YOBE STATE

Wednesday 28th February 2024 SELL team paid an advocacy visit to Roadmap for Women and Youth Development (RAWYOD), National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons among others in Damaturu, Yobe State.

The purpose of the visit is to seek possible areas of collaboration and establish working synergy.

The meeting focused on youth and women’s empowerment and support fight against trafficking in the state.

Among the issues that were discussed was the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to formalize the collaboration and ensure the effective implementation of joint initiatives.

Both stakeholders visited were happy with the work SELL is doing, they also gave tribute to the SELL team in Yobe and encouraged them to keep up the good work.

Similarly, the team paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Sarah Ibrahim a SELL volunteer from Damaturu who passed on in December, 2023 to commiserate with the family and continue to pray for the repose of her soul.
